“ Friendly folks but an old style dealership that still plays games, pretending you are supposed to be happy with list price (less mfg rebate, lucky you!), and hiding costs by quoting prices that exclude things like freight that are already part of list price. You won't find out about their "nonnegotiable" doc fees until the very end. I was quoted over $400 for that, which negated most of the mfg rebate I was offered. Many dealerships disclose their doc fees on their website so you can compare for yourself. They also don't seem to realize that manufacturers have configurators online now so you can see a breakdown of all the features and what true list price is supposed to be. And hey, you can search for your car online and find out what it is really selling for. And yes, you SHOULD be getting a decent dealer discount. After working with these folks for weeks I finally gave up and told them we were done. That same afternoon I spent 30 minutes online with another dealer, buying my perfect car via chat and at $3000 less than Kim's deal. And since the seller was out of state, I got the paperwork from the dealer and took it into our local county tax office where I paid for registration, MS sales tax, and my $10 title fee myself. (No dealer doc fees). I did have to pay for a one-way airline ticket to get my car. The dealership picked me up at the airport and I drove the car home. Do your homework and don't think you must buy local if they don't treat you fairly. This is 2019 not 1960! ”
